Corey Davis, born in Memphis, TN , has been deeply rooted in music for over three decades as a musician and songwriter. A fluent multi-instrumentalist specializing in Afro-Cuban percussion, he has built a diverse career in the music industry, contributing as an artist manager, talent scout, and developer.
After relocating to Kansas in 2012, Corey quickly became an active presence in the Kansas City music scene, performing with groups such as Afrobeat band, Sunu, Back Alley Brass Band, and more. He is currently working on his debut studio project, A Letter to 77, in collaboration with Castle. In addition, Corey serves as Production Manager for Castle Studio’s upcoming Tower Sessions, a live performance series inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk with an intimate, living room feel.
